We only ask for what we need to bake and deliver your cake, and we look after it carefully.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, mobile number, email address, delivery address or chosen pickup outlet, delivery date and any notes you add to the order.
For custom cake requests we also collect the occasion, cake size, your description and any reference image you upload.
We collect basic, anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics so we can understand which pages are useful.
How we use it
To bake, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
To send you an order confirmation email and to notify our operations team.
To improve our cakes, our outlets and this website.
Payment information
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes or mobile wallet PINs. When online payment goes live, payments will be handled entirely on the payment provider's secure page, and we will only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded.
Who can see your data
Only King's Confectionery staff who need it to fulfil your order. Order records are stored securely and are not publicly accessible.
We never sell your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order and custom-order records are kept for as long as we need them for service, accounting and warranty purposes. Reference images uploaded with custom orders are kept only as long as the request is being handled.
